Evansville’s Newest K9 Crime-fighter

Team Sonitrol was so excited to meet K9 Officer Axe and his human, EPD Office Murphy! Sonitrol is proud to sponsor another K9 dog purchase for EPD, (our buddy K9 Officer Doc is enjoying his well-deserved retirement after fighting crime with Officer John Montgomery.)

Sonitrol had the privilege to choose a name for EPD’s newest crime fighting K9. Ultimately, our team voted for the name Axe, short for Maxitrol, a division of our company focused on commercial fire protection. K9 Officer Axe is about a year and a half old and is a Belgian Malinois from Slovakia. Axe is a dual purpose K9, who works in both, narcotics detection, and location and apprehension of suspects. We can’t wait to hear about the crime fighting K9 Officer Axe and Officer Murphy get into, keeping our community safe!
