Sonitrol of Evansville is a locally owned and operated franchise that has been providing top notch security solutions to Evansville and surrounding areas for over 40 years. We install and service our own systems, and we also monitor alarms and dispatch from our UL Certified Central Station located in downtown Evansville.
We are seeking a highly motivated, technically inclined individual for the position of installation coordinator.
Job Description
- Accurately track, coordinate, and schedule installations
- Contact customers to confirm installation times
- Act as purchasing agent to obtain necessary materials and parts for upcoming projects, create and process purchase orders
- Perform warehouse material handling to include receiving shipments, validating packing slips, and staging equipment for each project
- Manage equipment inventory for technical departments, perform quarterly inventory counts
- Participate in daily meetings with the installation team and contribute to weekly cross functional meetings to discuss productivity metrics
- Process project closeout paperwork
- Coordinate and schedule with subcontractors as necessary
- Process RMA’s and equipment repairs
- Maintain regular communication, project documentation, and scheduling with the customer and management regarding project status updates, delivery commitments, material tracking, etc
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1+ year experience in a field install/service business or customer service related field preferred
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Strong organization skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
