Calling all adventure seekers!
Calling all adventure seekers! Do you love a good obstacle course? How does a 5k course, packed with over 15 obstacles and set along downtown Evansville’s Ohio River sound? This course is for anyone-from athletes to families with kids -looking for a FUN Saturday morning challenge. Even better? This race supports our Evansville Police Department, specifically the SWAT team. What does the EP SWAT Team do? Well, here’s a response to that question, directly from the race website:
“Founded in 1975, the EP SWAT team trains and prepares for missions involving barricaded gunmen, hostage rescue, high risk warrant service, active shooter response and more. The team is on-call 24 hours a day and responds immediately to calls for service. SWAT officers are selected from within the Evansville Police Department. Since Sonitrol was founded by a retired police officer and his inventor friend, our company simply wouldn’t be here without the police.
