Ribbon Cutting at HealthForce Kentucky
Team Sonitrol’s Sherri Wright and Jennifer Hayes attended the ribbon cutting for HealthForce in Owensboro, Kentucky. Sonitrol installed Access Control, Cameras, and Verified Security to protect this one-of-a-kind, innovative training center. Sherri is pictured, along with HealthForce Kentucky’s CEO, Bruce Williams, as well as Chris Murphy, owner of Fastek, which provided the IT solutions and Cyber Security protection.
About HealthForce: “HealthForce Kentucky was formed in 2022 after the state legislature declared an emergency to address the healthcare workforce shortage. We are a collaborative initiative of colleges and universities, along with P–12 school districts across central and western Kentucky, working to expand access to high-quality healthcare training.
We operate out of our 35,000-square-foot Innovation Simulation Center that is scheduled to open in the Winter of 2026 in Owensboro, Kentucky. In addition, we operate two tractor-trailer–based mobile labs equipped with advanced simulation technology and resources to support in-school programming.
Our focus is on delivering high-touch, hands-on learning experiences to students in both rural and urban communities, ensuring that quality healthcare training is accessible to all. The Simulation Center is equipped with effective tools and simulated space that will improve clinical outcomes and patient care in all populations.”
Congratulations to HeatlhForce on their ribbon cutting, and thanks for sharing this event with us, Sherri and Jennifer!
