Just after two a.m., our Central Station operator, Chaz, received an audio alarm that sounded like machine noise and then metal being moved at a business with one of our verified alarms and dispatched police. Law enforcement arrived and made an apprehension before anything could be stolen. Way to go, Chaz and Muncie Police Department!
Protect your business from internal and external theft!
With Sonitrol’s access control, your business can decide which employees have access to various areas of your facility and tailor the hours they may gain entry through each door or elevator. Restrict who can come and go from your offices, your warehouse, or your lobby. Differentiate restrictions and permissions between night shift, day shift, and even management levels. Developed by a police officer and an inventor…
Did you know that over fifty years ago Sonitrol was developed by a police officer and an inventor? Combining the creativity of the inventor, Bob Baxter, and the perspective of Al Cronk, a police officer, Sonitrol was launched with the purpose of decreasing false alarms that police responded to and more importantly to INCREASE criminal apprehensions. Baxter’s innovations in audio technology allowed a monitoring team to listen in to a commercial property that had Sonitrol armed and to verify to responding police that a break-in was in progress. Today, Sonitrol is the 3rd largest commercial security company in North America. Call us at (800) 444-1191 to get a free assessment to protect your home or business!
Our team is always on the job!
Our Central Station team never fails to impress! Congratulations to Tammy Greenlee, Tina Hasenour, and DJ Lewis for achieving perfect attendance, even with multiple overtime shifts, for the entire third quarter of 2020! THANK YOU for all you do to monitor our customer accounts and to keep our community safe.
Fastest police response times!
Nationwide, Sonitrol is recognized among security leaders for having the FASTEST police response times in the industry. Because of our innovative alarm verification, our Central Station monitoring team can verify that a break-in is in progress. Law enforcement officers spend countless hours responding to false alarms with traditional alarm companies, but with Sonitrol, they know that’s not the case. Our operators even provide real-time critical details about what they are seeing and hearing at the facility, so law enforcement officers know more about the situation they are walking into, which helps increase officer safety. One of our professional design consultants is a phone call away at (800)444-1191 if you would like a FREE security assessment for your business or home.
Thank you, Evansville Police Department!
Team Sonitrol’s Flavia and her daughter, Madison, took Subway and certificates of appreciation to EPD last night. They met with Officer Fahse, one of the officers who recently apprehended an intruder at an EVSC school we monitor. We also want to give a shout out to the crew not pictured: Officers Toney, Hallmark, and Maier. When our Central Station operators detect an intrusion, Evansville Police Department is quick to respond. Thank you, law enforcement officers, for all you do!
School apprehension
Union County Sheriff’s Office appreciation
Team Sonitrol’s C.Tom visited the Union County Sheriff’s Office with certificates of appreciation yesterday. They made an apprehension when they responded to a late night verified Sonitrol alarm at a coal mining business we monitor in Kentucky. A special shout out goes to Deputy Lee Chandler, Deputy Eric McCallister, and Sheriff Mickey Arnold. Thank you, officers, for all you do to fight crime. We love our relationship with law enforcement!
Thank you, Officers!
Yianni, from Team Sonitrol, took cookies and certificates of appreciation to the Owensboro Police Department. We wanted to say thank you to the OPD for their apprehension of a suspect at an auto business. Late one night, our Central Station operator, Chaz, heard suspicious sounds on a verified audio Sonitrol alarm and dispatched police. The suspect had gained entry through the air conditioning ducts on the roof. He may have thought he was avoiding detection because he didn’t enter the business through a door or window, but Sonitrol alarms give wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling coverage. If someone is attempting to break-in, we will hear them. Also, we want to give a special shout-out to the chief’s assistant, Barbara Keller, for accepting the gift on behalf of her team.
Apprehension alert!
We want to thank the Ball State Police Department for their great job apprehending two intruders at Northside Middle School earlier this summer. Misty stopped by third shift roll call last night to drop off pizza and say thank you. A special shout out goes to Lt. Matt Gaither, Sergeant Craig Hodson, Officer Rob Weller, and Officer Andrew Wagner! At Sonitrol, we love working with local law enforcement to protect schools and businesses.
