Last night at 3:52 am, our local Sonitrol operator received a basement/garage door alarm at a residence. Police were immediately dispatched. The owner was contacted and informed the operator that they were on vacation. When police entered the residence they found the burglar walking from room to room with no shoes, no socks, no shirt. The man had gained entry through the dog door. He had entered the car in the garage and ransacked the trunk. The toolbox had been removed from the trunk and was sitting in front of the garage door. Suspect was apprehended and home was secured! Per police department, nothing appears to have been taken.
