Last week, our Central Station operator, Chaz, dispatched law enforcement to a restaurant Sonitrol monitors when he received suspicious audio with voices from the location. Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department, assisted by Evansville Police Department, apprehended two suspects who had broken in through a drive-thru window for a late-night snack. To say thank you to EPD Officer Jason Martin and Sergeant Karges for their assistance in the apprehension, team Sonitrol’s Flavia took sandwiches and wraps from The Granola Jar, certificates of appreciation, and Sonitrol hats to EPD last night. Two arrested after breaking-in for a late night snack!

In the middle of the night, our Central Station operator, Chaz, received suspicious audio with voices from a local restaurant monitored by Sonitrol. Chaz dispatched law enforcement, and EPD made two apprehensions. The suspects had broken in through a drive-thru window for a late night snack, but little did they know they had tripped the alarm and Sonitrol was listening to protect the business.
