Early this morning, our Central Station operator, Chaz, received a verified audio alarm at a commercial property monitored by Sonitrol, and he dispatched law enforcement. Local police departments responded at once and apprehended two people at the location. Great job catching the intruders, Officers and Chaz!

Team Sonitrol’s Flavia stopped by roll call last night to thank EPD for their apprehension recently at a local restaurant monitored by Sonitrol. She took food from Subway, certificates of appreciation, and custom Sonitrol gifts. A special shout out goes to Officer Clayton, Officer Reed, and Officer Harter, who made the apprehension, and also to Maye, our Central Station operator who dispatched police. Last night also happened to be Lieutenant Wittmer’s last night before retirement from EPD, and Team Sonitrol has appreciated working with him over the years for the EPD Foundation’s SWAT Challenge. Shortly after midnight, our Central Station operator, Maye, received an alarm at a local restaurant with one of our verified alarms and dispatched police.
