Theft prevented with Sonitrol!

Another satisfied customer reached out to us this week after our Central Station team responded to an alarm, preventing a theft. Sonitrol operator, Liz, received a video alarm just after midnight. When she saw the individuals in the lot attempting to steal old A/C units, she alerted the customer and dispatched EPD. This was a recently installed camera system sold by Sherri to protect the customer’s outdoor inventory. In the attached picture on the bottom left, one of the individuals can be seen sneaking around. Fire monitoring prevents loss of life and property!

Over the weekend, Sonitrol’s Central Station operator, DJ, received a fire alarm at an apartment complex we protect and monitor. DJ dispatched the fire department, who responded at once. Evansville Fire Department found a garbage bag smoldering due to a lit cigarette in the hallway of the building. They put it out before it grew and ventilated the apartment building. This could have been a MAJOR disaster-from loss of life or injury to property damage- had the fire system not been monitored by our 24-hour Central Station. Two suspects apprehended!

Two intruders were apprehended! In the middle of the night, our Central Station operator, Liz, detected an intrusion and dispatched on a door alarm to a local business we secure. Owensboro Police Department responded and apprehended two suspects who had broken into the building. Great job, Liz! Great job, OPD! Shortly after midnight, our Central Station operator, Chaz, received an audio alarm and picked up sounds against the door of a pharmacy we monitor. He immediately dispatched police as he recognized the sounds of a break-in attempt. He accessed the video cameras and alerted responding officers that two suspects were inside the store, one in a hoodie. While one suspect evaded police, the other was apprehended, and all the merchandise was recovered by police, leaving only a damaged door.

Yesterday afternoon, our Central Station operator, Maye, received a fire alarm on a parking garage we monitor.
